Train is leaving - where do I get off in believing I could just  hop off 

I like to sit with sadness but if its yours I’ll make the pain stop

You living proud or you ashamed?

Inspired or are you drained?

Inspite of all that we gained,

Thought I knew what love was apparently I didn’t see 

That freedom is what love is - and now hand I hold the key

 

To open  opportunities mistakes are turned to  little trees

We paint them on blank canvases and hope the cost is worth the fee 

But nothing is as priceless as the quiet moments in between

There’s happiness in stillness - just listen carefully

They need sunshine with the solace - rainclouds with the calmness

If it pours too much I need to know that you’ll protect the softness

 

August, it burns hottest and the roses, even smallest

Need to be loved and acknowledged, it’s their thorns that make them flawless

After they have fallen- in the spring with a fresh pollen

Maybe they can grow again, but I want flowers in the Autumn

 

Brrr, you feel that breeze? (yeah)  That was a cold chill

Focusin on steeze is how you catch one, and control kills

How will you keep climbing if those mountains turn to molehills

Ashes turn to dust and I know even the gold will

Looking for  the signs to be felt like they’re braille

Nature never seems to hurry yet somehow it’s all gets finished

If you let the day’s get blurry you’ll forget that life’s a privilege

I got tired of the worry, that’s when I embraced forgiveness

Rather watch the ferrets scurry, that’s the proper kinda business.

 

The jobs is never finished all of us have got our limits

If you need it, take this minute - if you just want it, come and get it

Let the clouds pour down extinguish and drown out the doubting limericks 

It’s a choice to feel alive so when the storm hits you, just let it.
